ENABLE BLACKBERRY INSTANT MESSENGER, BROWSER WITHOUT BIS/BES 

 

Blackberry make good phones, regardless of whether you use them for email or not. Like everyone I am trying to cut costs at the moment, and one of those costs was my Blackberry plan.

FOR ALL YOU PEARL OWNERS OUT THERE: 

Step 1

Update: The fastest way to backup/restore Service  Book on your BlackBerry (no need to remove Browser Module)

Enable Legacy SB Restore mode

Go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Book
hold ALT and press S B E B

you will see the message Legacy SB Restore Enable.

After that you can free to backup/Restore Service Book on your BlackBerry.

Step 2

Start Desktop Manager.
Select Backup and Restore.
Press button = Advanced. You will see two windows: 
Left = Desktop File Databases (database of BB, which is stored on the PC). This window is empty.  
Right = they see all the databases on your BB

Step 3

Unzip the zip file with Service Book. See item 2 (above).
Since there is with file. Ipd resolution. (BB's database information required for the configuration of services (working with electronic mail and browser) is responsible)

Step 4 

4) Drag the file (step 3) Desktop File Databases in the window above and press the arrow to transfer the database in a given device.

Step 5 

Press any key to continue cmb.bat version of the file. Browser will restore itself.
That is the whole process.  

Now on your device, go to properties (parameters) - Advanced properties (parameters) - Date Book.
You will see the following configurations: Email [CMIME] and Browser Config [BrowserConfig].
Other configurations besides Wi-Fi TCP / IP Browser? Wi-Fi TCP / IP transport does not need.
Check if your browser configuration to standard properties is bound.

Note: After each restart BB to download from the WAP network configurations of your operator. So - every time they need properties themselves - delete all the service-book with words WAP configurations - Advanced Properties. And Properties - Advanced Properties - properties for PUSH observer must "turn on WAP PUSH" to his heels and with "WAP PUSH allow plants" remove.
